Japanese boy

Great hit from the early 80's by Aneka.

There's a Chinese version by famous Taiwan girl pop group, S.H.E. ,

He said that he loved me
never would go, oh oh, oh oh.
Now I find I'm sitting
here on my own, oh oh, oh oh.

Was it something I've said or done
That made him pack his bags up and r'un?
Could it be another he's found? -
It's breaking up the happy home.

Mister, can you tell me
where my love has gone?
He's a Japanese boy.
I woke up one morning and
my love was gone
Oh my Japanese boy
ooh I miss my Japanese boy.

People ask about him
every day, oh oh, oh oh.
Don't know what to tell them
what can I say? Oh oh oh

If only he would write me or call
A word of explanation that's all.
It would stop me climbing the wall. -
It's breaking up the happy home.

Mister, can you tell me
where my love has gone?
He's a Japanese boy.
I woke up one morning and
my love was gone
Oh my Japanese boy
ooh I miss my Japanese boy.

Was it something I've said or done
That made him pack his bags up and r'un?
Could it be another he's found? -
It's breaking up the happy home.

Mister, can you tell me
where my love has gone?
He's a Japanese boy.

Reggae - I Love It !!

Love this song!!

It was popular when I was like 13 years old and couldn't hear what they were singing; I thought they sang "I don't like cricket!"

They mean "like" is a weak word, instead of I Iike reggae they "love" it.

Epica

Recently, I visited the website of Epica and the truth is that I liked a lot. It has always been my favorite band above all others. They have been able to invent their own style and give it depth and classicism. On its website can see the different trajectories of its components and a common characteristic: all are studies in classical music. That made me think a lot. To achieve the level of Epica in this regard must be studied music at the conservatory for hours and hire choirs and violins to help you to raise the symphony. Is really difficult to make this whole thing ....

But to show you that you can ... Here I leave the video for their song "The Phantom Agony", which although a few years ago (2003) is a clear example of how to record a song in style of SymphonicMetal.
And with subtitles in english and spanish for see the great lyrics!!

Fandango - A whiter shade of pale

Gary Brooker recalled the writing of the music : "I'd been listening to a lot of Classical music, and Jazz.
'A Whiter Shade Of Pale' seemed to be about two people, a relationship even. It's a memory. There was a leaving, and a sadness about it. To get the soul of those lyrics across vocally, to make people feel that, was quite an accomplishment.

When it came to me , I thought, 'Here's something.' I happened to be at the piano when I read them, already playing a musical idea. It fitted the lyrics within a couple of hours. Things can be gifted. If you trace the chordal element, it does a bar or two of Bach's 'Air On A G String' before it veers off.

That spark was all it took. I wasn't consciously combining Rock with Classical, it's just that Bach's music was in me."

Dedicated to my dear brother Nir Halfon and his family...

Distorted

Formed in 1996, Distorted was founded by high school friends in an attempt to create a refreshing trend in the whole female metal scene by mixing the brutal side of metal with the refinement of oriental music.

It is undeniably a fairly long track record of these guys from Israel. The energy released is impressive, do not use keyboards in his compositions that lends to their songs not so much depth, but the bass often replaced the keyboards.

However, his vocals manage to unite their voices (guttural and natural) to perfection in many of their songs. This is shown in the following songs: "Children of fall". Very good.

Don't Stop me Now

The song is based on the piano played by Freddie Mercury, while falling to accompany Roger Taylor and John Deacon from the battery and low respectively, in the studio version, Brian May only involved with the guitar during the solo, while in the live version that appeared during the Jazz Tour Crazy Tour and, May playing chords to give a sound leaning more towards the Rock.

The song is used for a commercial VH1 also was used in the movie "Shaun of the Dead"

La-Ventura

Holland is a country that does not stop us pleasant surprises in the form of bands. Examples are from Within Temptation, Delain, Stream of passion, Epica and many more. But I discovered that there is life beyond Epica until I found them: La-Ventura

I really like the style of this band. Makes music quite naturally, the guitars have a major role in this group. Carla Douw gives a mature and charismatic voice that makes you believe what you are listening. They are a group with a great personality.

His new albun "The New Beginning" defines While all these aspects of which we have spoken. Her single" Trefoil "is one of my favorite songs. Enjoy

Quo Vadis - Defiant Imagination (2004)

Tracklist:
1. Silence Calls the Storm
2. In Contempt
3. Break the Cycle
4. Tunnel Effect (Element of the Ensemble IV)
5. To the Bitter End
6. In Articulo Mortis

Quo Vadis - Silence Calls The Storm

Sirenia

I would like to start with a band of which I declare myself a staunch fan: Sirenia.

The inclusion of the Spanish singer Ailyn (Granada, Spain) from my point of view is a great success. We have seen the evolution of the band on their new album "The 13th floor", with much more melodic rhythms, power and above all by the presence of choirs, which give much greater depth to the songs.

They call themselves "Gothic metal" talking about subjects as varied as Life, Death, Love, Hate, Mental Decline ...

The single from their new album was certainly a big bombshell for specialized critics.

I'm on my knees Looking for the answer

The melodie is so beautiful. I can hear it every and every day.

Red it some place that this is Hunter S. Thompson's quote ,

"We are raising a generation of dancers".

That was meant to convey the message that the youth of America is starting to have the tendency of following somebody else's beat, rather than marching to the beat of their own drum.

Tenochtitlan - Tezcatl (2007)

Tracklist:

1. Nemiliztli & Miquiztli
2. Teokalli
3. Ix Chel
4. Tonatiu Lament
5. Fatal Xihupohualli

The Black Dahlia Murder - Deflorate (2009)

Tracklist:
1. Black Valor
2. Necropolis
3. A Selection Unnatural
4. Denounced, Disgraced
5. Christ Deformed
6. Death Panorama
7. Throne Of Lunacy
8. Eyes Of Thousand
9. That Which Erodes The Most Tender
10. I Will Return

Amputated Genitals - Family Bloodbath (2009)

Disfrutenlo!!

Tracklist:
01.Sexual Experiences With Animals And My Mother's Cadaver
02.The Butcher's Kindergarden
03.Severe Renal Infection
04.Bloody Justice

Amorphis - Tales from the Thousand Lakes (1994)

Tracklist:
  1. Thousand Lakes
  2. Into Hiding
  3. The Castaway
  4. First Doom
  5. Black Winter Day
  6. Drowned Maid
  7. In The Beginning
  8. Forgotten Sunrise
  9. To Fathers Cabin
  10. Magic And Mayhem

Yo, what up, this wyclef with mary j.

I want you right now to turn the lights down low
Pull your girl up next to you

If death comes for me tonight, girl
I want you to know that I love you
And no matter how tough I wouldnt dare
Only to you I would reveal my tears
So tell the police I aint home tonight
Messin around with you is gonna get me life
But when I look into your eyes
Youre worth that sacrafice
If this is the kind of love that my mom used to warn me about
Man, Im in trouble
Im in real big trouble
If this is the kind of love that the old folks used to warn me about
Man, Im in trouble
Im in real big trouble
I need yall to do me a favor

Someone please call 911
Tell them I just been shot down
And the bullets in my heart
And its piercing through my soul
Feel my body gettin cold
Somone please call 911
The alleged assalaint
Is my lover
And she shot me through my soul
Feel my body gettin cold

[mary j. blige]
So cold
Sometimes I feel like Im a prisoner
I think Im trapped here for a while
And every breath I fight to take
Is as hard as these four walls I wanna break
I told the cops you wasnt here tonight
Messin around with me is gonna get you life
Oh yeah, yeah
But everytime I look into your eyes
Then its worth the sacrifice

[wyclef]
If this is the kind of love that your mom used to warn you about
Man, we are in trouble
Youre in real big trouble
If this is the kind of love that the old folks used to warn me about
Im in trouble
Im in real big trouble
You got anything to say, girl?

[mary j. blige]
Someone please call 911
Tell them I just got shot down
And its piercing through my soul
Feel my body getting cold

[wyclef]
Someone please call 911
The alleged assalaint
Was my lover
And she shot me through my soul
Feel my body getting cold

Wyclef and mary j. blige
