Everytime You Go Away

This was a Hall & Oates song but Paul Young did it better.

What was so great about the 80s was that a traditional blues and R&B song like this could get lumped in with New Wave and still sound good alongside bands like The Cure, Thompson Twins, Psych Furs...

that was the beauty of that time in music...It was such a melting pot of styles and a great deal of it was incredible.

Careless Whisper - Rio 1991

One of the best performances George Michael has ever showed.

The melody is unique and the singer is awesome! nothing compares to those days..

I have'nt seen any version of Careless Whisper played by saxophonists such as these two guys on top and tenor, amazing!

They are to be congratulated and everyone should see this is more expensive is the top.

Suspicious Minds

great song from Elvis !!!

Elvis Presley was the first real rock and roll star. A white southerner who singing blues laced with country and country tinged with gospel, Presley brought together music from both sides of the color line.

Presley performed this music with a natural hip swiveling sexuality that made him a teen idol and a role model for generations of cool rebels.

Presley was repeatedly dismissed as vulgar, incompetent and a bad influence.

African Alphabet Song

This is so beautiful.

I watched SS from aged 3 till I was almost 18.

The older SS episodes were so wonderful and I did forget this African alphabet song it is so good.

When they say ZEEEEEEEE you can feel a tranquilizing effect.

Notice that they are using the Zulu heritage to do a good song with Shaka Zulu rappresentation and the amazing voice of lady Smith Black Mambazo so many memories from

Crocodile Rock & Dr. Teeth

Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem are the house band on The Muppet Show.
They mostly stick to rock music, but they're capable of playing other styles, including jazz and (unwillingly) classical.
Although Dr. Teeth is the leader, he is not the only one to provide lead vocals.
Floyd Pepper is often a lead singer on songs, and Janice is lead singer on a handful of songs.

This next song is originally from Buck Owens and was a No. 1 hit in the country charts of the USA in 1964. One year later, 1965, the Beatles covered this song - and they did it very well. There also exists a version of Ringo Starr and Buck Owens together, recorded in the seventies.

The games people play ...

Two great singers.

Tom and Engelbert are living legend and the two best singers ever.

Only Elvis Presley and Roy Obrison are missing.
they are great with Billy Preston.

I always knew he was one of the best musicians but that he could sing with so much soul....Respect !!!!

Preston was one of the best Hammond/keyboard/Piano players ...
