Este es el segundo album de estudio de esta gran banda de groove metal, perteneciente a la NWOAHM (new wave of american heavy metal), liderada por el energético Randy Blythe. Con este album Lamb of God deja atras el titulo de "banda revelacion" y se ubica entre los grandes exponentes del metal moderno. Un disco cargado de excelentes riffs, una coordinacion de los instrumentos fantastica y del cual se rescatan temazos como "11th Hour", "As the Palaces Burn", "For Your Malice, "Ruin" entre otras grandes composiciones.
